What's the difference between soffit and fascia?
Fascia is the vertical board along your roofline where gutters attach. Soffit is the horizontal underside of your roof overhang.
How do I know if it needs replacement?
Common signs: peeling paint, visible wood rot, bowing or sagging panels, pest entry holes, water staining, or visible daylight from the attic.
Aluminum wrap vs full replacement?
If wood is sound, aluminum wrap is the best value. If wood is rotted, full tear-off and replacement is the only honest fix.
How much does it cost?
Aluminum fascia wraps run $8–$14/lf installed. Vented soffit $6–$10/lf. Full tear-off and replacement $15–$25/lf.
Will new soffit improve my attic temperature?
Often yes. Continuous-vent soffit paired with adequate ridge ventilation can lower attic temps by 20°F+ in summer.
Do you work with insurance?
Absolutely. We document everything for your adjuster and can work directly with your claim.
